Nonpublic School Security Guard Reimbursement Program (NPS)
On January 13, 2025, the Nonpublic School Security Guard Reimbursement Program reduced the required number of enrolled students to qualify from 300 to 150 students.
The NPS program offers funds for the cost of security guard expenses at the school. This grant is open to all non-public elementary and secondary schools (pre-kindergarten- 12th grade) in New York City who meet the following qualifications:
Have a School BEDS #
Will enroll at least 150 students into the school programs under the school’s BEDS # in Fall 2026
Have completed the prequalification of the school on the NYC Passport platform by time of application.
Complete the HHS Accelerator Application in PASSPortz
The completed application must be submitted through the NYC Passport account by May 15, 2026
